Loyal, Buy Local" Networking Mixers - Held at
various member company locations, this monthly event helps you make
business connections and gain exposure for your products or services.
Buying locally helps keep the local economy strong. This program
encourages companies to support other local businesses when price,
quality and service are comparable.
"Network
at Noon" - a new program offering
increased networking opportunities at a member business on a Thursday
or Friday from noon to 2 p.m.
"Behind
the Scenes at..." - An opportunity for members
to go behind the scenes and be part of an informal, nuts and bolts
information gathering tour which could provide both the participants
and the host company with potential business.
Networking
Groups - Establish business contacts, exchange leads
and share ideas with others in these groups.
Currently the Chamber runs 4 Networking Groups:
2 in the morning from 8 to 9:30 a.m.
2 at lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Mega
Marketplace - A unique networking event held twice a year
to give a one minute presentation to the 100 participating businesses.
Mailing
Labels/Lists/Disks - Use the Chamber's database, with
up-to-date contact names, for cost-effective mailings to over 1,700
decision-makers.
Business
Trade Shows - Gain access to hundreds of qualified
prospects at the Chamber's business-to-business marketing events,
such as the Entrepreneurial Women's Expo and the Annual Tabletop
Networking Mixer at the Chase Center on the Riverfront.
Member
Briefing - Get introduced to what the Chamber can do
for you. Introduce yourself and your business to as many as 30 other
new and existing Chamber members.

Breakfast Series - Meet government and business leaders
who attend and learn about legislative issues affecting your company.
Programs include question-and-answer time with elected officials.

the Loop" Series - This program is designed to
bring Chamber members in contact with Delaware's key appointed policy-makers
in an informal atmosphere.

Committees - Help develop Chamber policy positions
by participating on Congressional Action, State Affairs and New
Castle County Government Councils.
Annual
Dinner - Meet the more than 400 business leaders, legislators
and policy-makers who attend this prestigious event held at the
Spencer Hotel each March. The Dr. Wallace M. Johnson Community Service
Award is presented at this event.

Affairs Staff - Have a question about how government
affects your business? Ask our government affairs staff who studies
local, state and federal legislation to keep you informed and help
you resolve legislative issues.
