Café Fresh, an award-winning restaurant chain offering a fresh and healthy alternative to typical fast food, comes to Hockessin this January with the opening of Café Fresh at Hockessin Crossing. The official Grand Opening Celebration will follow in February.

With a menu that features over a dozen pure fruit smoothies, fresh squeezed fruit and vegetable juices, a variety of organic coffees and teas (iced and hot), as well as a wide variety of scrumptious, healthy food, Café Fresh has a taste to delight every palate. We offer a wide array of specialty health products, including shots of wheatgrass and matcha green tea, and unique antioxidant drinks made from acai, mangosteen, pomegranate and goji berries.
 
The restaurant is owned and operated by Hockessin residents Ellen and Lou Calvarese. They are thrilled to bring Café Fresh’s healthy values to their hometown. As Ellen says, “We all live such busy, hurried lives that fast food has become a necessity. But we don’t want to sacrifice our health in the process. With so many kids today struggling with weight issues and other childhood diseases, we felt the need to provide a healthy alternative for Hockessin’s families. Now you can feed your kids nutritious, delicious food, even as you’re on the run. If you call ahead, we’ll even prepare your order so it’s ready when you arrive.”
