Greater Newark Network Public Forum Event gathers 150 people
On April 27 the Greater Newark Network invited members of the Newark community on a public forum to hear information about the plans and developments for the area from University of Delaware representatives and the city manager of Newark. The attendees learned what is the vision of the university for the Chrysler plant development and initiatives undertaken to address the impact of the BRAC operations moving to the Aberdeen. All speakers acknowledged the principle
of partnership in their future plans, and the importance of the character and vibrant environment that makes Newark a good place to be.
Moving forward, the network will continue to schedule public forums and issue progress reports.
We invite your suggestions and your active participation in these important initiatives.
