Chamber Mission to China

China is the fastest growing economy in the world.  What better way to learn about potential business opportunities in China than seeing for your self.  That is why the Chamber is planning a business mission to China in October of 2010.

     Working with the American Chamber of Commerce Executives (ACCE) and member company, Cislinc, we have put together a nine day trip to China that will feature stops in Beijing, Sushou, Hangzhou and Shanghai.  You will see both ancient and modern China as the trip includes visits to the Great Wall, Tiananmen Square, the World Expo and meetings with Chinese business groups.  You will learn how the Chinese business system operates and what opportunities may exist for your business.

     No longer the “sleeping dragon,” China has become a significant economic opportunity for Delaware based businesses.  Business opportunities are not only available for large corporations, but they exist for small and medium sized companies as well.  China took center stage when it hosted the Summer Olympics in 2008.  Since that time, it has become clear that China has an ever increasing demand for consumer products and professional services.  The Chamber sponsored business mission will provide a unique and affordable opportunity to learn first hand about potential business opportunities.  You will also experience a new culture and see some of the great wonders of the world.

     Part of the trip will include a visit to the 2010 World Expo in Shanghai.  The focus of the  Expo will be urban life in the 21st century, and it will feature displays from many different countries.  There will be many exhibits exploring new approaches to human habitat, lifestyle and working conditions in the new century.
