Conflict Management
at Home and at Work
Presenter: Gil Crosby,
President, Crosby & Associates
www.crosbyod.com
11:45 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Conflict, according to Dr. Jay
Hall , "is a natural part of human interaction...the way we, as individuals,
think about and choose to handle conflict is more important in determining
its outcome than the nature of the conflict itself."
In other words, having differences,
whether large or small, is inevitable. Our beliefs about conflict
and our habits during conflict complicate or simplify the resolution of
differences.
Join Gil Crosby, master of leadership
and organizational development, as he guides you through a self-assessment
of your tendencies during conflict, as well as a practical model of conflict
resolution.
In this powerful working session
you will:
- Assess your beliefs and habits regarding conflict
- Understand and apply the VOMP model of conflict resolution
Who Should Attend?
The session is suited to anyone
who wants to improve their ability to manage conflict.
Handouts: Chapters
9 & 10, Emotional Intelligence and Beyond, by Gil
Crosby.
