New Castle County combines a history of business success with an entrepreneurial heritage. It was New Castle County that supported the rise of corporate giants DuPont, Astra Zeneca, and Christiana Care.
New Castle County has a proud legacy of being business friendly and it was the county’s leading role in the early mills and shipping that would eventually lead to Delaware becoming the “Corporate Capital of the World.”
The Emerging Enterprise Center is Delaware’s only small business incubator.
